The threadless anime discussion
Hi there! Here you can talk about all those animes without threads of their own yet. Use all your deductive powers in order to decide whether or not your post needs a spoiler tag.
Here I go! I've been watching Fairy Tail lately and I've realized that it's a fairly nice anime. Nice in the way that it has no blood, no deaths and so on. I've come to accept all that. Even when an attack destroys a mountain but leave the target with little more than scratches. Even when Gray grabs the edge of a sword with his bare hand without cutting himself. However this is unforgivable!
Spoiler for Edolas arc:
EDIT: I hate it more than the "it was just a dream"-ending.
EdoKing: someone is closing our Animas, what should we do?
EdoErza: Make a super big Anima!
PantherLily: No, make many small Animas at once.
EdoKing: I like Lily's idea better, lets do that!
Hmm... why not make this a fairy tail thread while we're at it?
heh, yeah, it almost already is... but nah, i like the idea of a thread where we can discuss all kinds of anime...
anybody watching anything from the winter season?
You mean this?

DRAGON DRAGON, DRAGON BALL Z~!!!!
... this is kinda meh, though...
episode of Bardock was beyond boring.
can't see how the anime would be good.

I watched Kimi to boku and it was really good. the twins in it are funny and theres the girly guy and then the little german spaz.
My brother has been watching dragonball z kai and it drives me crazy when he plays my old Z games and calls it dragonball z kai. and he keeps trying to tell me about it and im like bitch ive seen more dbz then you will ever see. so nyeh. just saiyan.

not really anime-related, but still~
i f'ing love liar game... and finally it will continue!!!!!!
I wondered what happened to that manga. This is nice.
Just so we're clear: the chair game was the last one before the hiatus, right?
For those that likes reading being quite sarcastic (I think) about the upcoming anime (Winter 2011/2012)
http://thecartdriver.com/winter-2012-anime-season-preview/
(thecartdriver is one of the few blogs I follow, that should say a bit :P )
yeah, i follow him too, and his summary of the upcoming season is a pretty good read ^^
That's a surprise~ ^^ Try checking out moesucks.com too then~ You might like him too :3
Anyone watching Ben-to btw? It seems to have mixed reactions o.< Moesucks and scamp threw it away quite fast, but the dude 2-d teleidoscope recently had a talk with seems to like it...
So people, what do you think? :o
did not watch Ben-to =3
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-11-24/horror-tv-anime-another-...
this is on my to-watch list though...
Anybody have an opinion if the new Hunter x Hunter anime is good? :D I haven't watched the original, but people are saying that it kinda should be watched before trying the remade version xD But if I just start straight from the new one, will I miss a lot of stuff...? :P
Edit: Just now noticed that there's a Hunter x Hunter thread :/ But this isn't discussion about the series so maybe this is fine here.
There are some discussion about the reboot there, especially in the last posts.
(this is manga-related but i guess this thread can support both manga and anime, yesh?)

The top three male mangaka are the creators of the three manga i probably love the most (one piece, vagabond and 20th century boys) so that's awesome~
also, go Oda ^^
OMG URASAWA NAOKI!!!! But why, for 20ss? He hasn't released anything new this year, has he? :O
i don't think so, but as far as i understood, this ranking is based off of the votes of a lot of people, including bookstore keepers and book reviewers... so i don't think you have to have released anything lately... i mean, akira toriyama is also on the list...
Ah yeah, I didn't look past his name haha. Well that's awesome ^___________^
Speaking of him btw, have you read/watched Monster? I started watching the anime but I was so disappointed :(
i watched it before i read 20th century boys, and although it's not nearly as good as 20th, i really liked it.
actually, i began watching monster a looong time ago, then i dropped it, then i picked it back up and i loved it the second time around... it really gets intense at times...
I just felt that like from the point where he runs away and onwards.. It all just feels like fillers. I wonder if the manga's the same.
it does feel that way, which is why i dropped it... but when johan makes his return around episode 25, it really takes a turn for the better... i remember marathon-ing through the last half of the series... talking about it makes me wanna watch the last half of the show again~
But I watched til like.. 30 something :P And I still thought it was terrible :P But I've considered skipping til like.. ~50 or something and see if it's better there xD
nooooo, you don't skip!
but i guess if you watched 'till ep 30 and still wasn't interested, it's just not you?
there's a lot of good stories which i'm pretty sure you've seen by now then... like the one with Dieter (i think his name was) and the guy who wants to burn the turkish district (again, i think that's how it was)... and if Johan's return didn't get you, i don't think the rest of the anime will =/
johan is awesomely creepy~
waaaaaaat /o/
Monster was great! Took me a long time to watch it all (XD; ) but it was amazing.
The end, pwn.

well... i guess you could argue that it would be no different than;
Spoiler for the Post-War arc in One Piece:
but I catch your drift and can see why it'd upset you... the reason i may NOT be upset by it could be that i'm kind of a Fairy Tail-fanboy =3
but awesome idea for a thread, it can be used to discuss all of the new animes that obviously won't get individual threads...
speaking of which, first ep of Guilty Crown was awesome, eh? at least in production value, still need to see some more before judging the story and characters i think...
