I really hope SonSon is in this. She was so cheap and spammy, you barely had to put in any effort at all.

Ryu, Mike Haggar, Frank West, Nathan Spencer,, Dante, Chris Redfield, Morrigan, Arthur, Amaterasu, Albert Wesker, Zero, Chun-li, Viewtiful Joe, Trish, Tron Bonne, Hsien-Ko, Akuma, Felicia.
To the best of my knowledge it hasn't been refuted so that may be the final roster. Despite no mention of SonSon it looks pretty fucking cool. Viewtiful joe Vs. Super Skrull? YESPLZ! And take all of this with a grain of salt of course.
That seems like too few characters compared to MvC2, though maybe that's a good thing for balance.
I think they said something about the possibility of adding more in the future. The amount of characters in MvC2 was a little crazy. I always felt kind of overwhelmed when it came time to pick.
