Hey, FFXIV is good [for the first time].

As of patch 1.19, FFXIV has become a game probably worth playing.

There are a whole host of changes worth reading about in the patch notes (here).

I'm most excited for the implementation of a "battle target" command (/bt) which automatically targets the nearest engaged enemy, something that has been annoying me constantly since the game came out. Also on the list of constant annoyances was the fact the camera controls were permanently bound to ijkl and not the arrow keys. Now, it appears that the camera can be controlled with the arrow keys? I am more hopeful than certain on that.

Anyway, we've got two more players already playing with association to the site - Jax and Tsao. Chime in if you'd like! Let's hear your plans for playing, what problems you think are still there, etc.

Remember, the game is still free to play! Just gotta buy the game and install it.
