Dragon age:origins
DA:O Is pretty fun. It would be awesome if people posted their characters here. like mine is a dwarf (noble) warrior berserker/champion shield specialization. Or you could just talk about what you liked/disliked about the game of course. I didnt like the bajazillion glitches I encountered. And use spoiler tags for spoilars please.

One of these days I really need to finish this damn game. My first character encountered a glitch after
and I couldnt advance. So now im replaying it and focusing on getting 100 with as many companions as possible. Shale,alistar,morrigan,wynne and the dog are easy peasy
oghren can be annoying if you try to raise your level without just giving him liquor
I've noticed there's a lot more glitches towards the end of the game... I got stuck in this Alienage orphanage quest a few times, had to back up to prior saves.
I'm going to beat the game tonight, I'm sure.
beat the game a few days ago. I was very satisfied with my end.
Now I get to work on my rouge and my mage and my two other warriors.
i'm a female city elf rogue, specialization double wielding assassination xD basically a female version of zev, lol. I LOVE THIS GAME <3 and i can't wait for the new dlc <3

which was pretty much what i wanted :D i think if i replay i'll do it as a female again.. i loved my char :D the only thing that sucks is that i can't sleep with morrigan T_T does anyone know if there's a mod for that? since there's one for alistair to go gay.. :D
Gay alistar sounds hilarious,I wasnt aware DA had mods. I think im gonna mess with the toolset today....maybe make an ogre hump something,iunno.
hahaha, that's the only one i know of. i've seen a clip of romance with him and another guy, so cute <3 and that's when i realised HE'S the one that should be gay, not zev.. alistair has all the more reason to, being raised as a templar and everything xD
plus he has a really gay haircut......and zevran is like omnisexual or something.

cause i've seen it edited (that part about where to meet him) several times but they've all said that you can't until.. well yeah that stuff. really weird. where did you meet him?

Do you mean the expansion? That's actually going to be a retail game, though you will most likely be able to download it.

I took a break from my second playthrough to thoroughly enjoy Arkham Asylum, but now that that's done, I'll probably get back into it tonight.

just started a human character. Im hoping there will be more storyline entwined into the main plot then with the other backgrounds. Since humans have one less background to choose from.
(well elves really have one more but I think the plot is the same for mages no matter what race)
That does seem to be the case, considering one of the main enemies is present in the human noble origin. I am rather curious to see what happens with the brother, or if you ever get to go back to that starting location.
I have a feeling the brother was in cahoots with howe.
why would he be? o.o
As soon as Bioware fixes my game, I'm strutting my human whore out through Ferelden to see what happens with the brother, if anything.

I have a 15lvl Warrior Archer cityelf. No specialazions... since I haven't figured out what would be good with this epic fail of a character I created.
I've been tempted to start a new character since the first 10hours into playing... but thought then the 10hours would go to waste... and now I've played around 30hours.. if I remember correctly :P And STILL WANNA START A NEW >_> <_<
I restarted my first character after about 10 hours or so, because I didn't like his face. At first I just wanted to try other origin stories, then I did the city elf's and found myself totally loving it. The character looked like a badass, and I felt like he was a badass, so I ended up redoing everything up to that point, at first thinking I'd go back to my other character, but never doing so.
30 hours is a long time in Dragon Age. At this point, you might as well keep going, or you may never finish the game. Just remember how awesome your dude was at the beginning, and you'll get another chance to be the hero of your brethren towards the end of the game.
I just took a break because it's so late, but I'm about to beat the game/do the final dungeon. I don't think any game before this one has ever prompted me to want to get all the achievements, let alone get through as thoroughly as I have in this.
My first playthrough is a city elf warrior. He's pretty good, in general. My standard companions are Alistair, Wynne, and Leliana(also love interest)
My next playthrough will be all evil and such, probably as a mage, with Shale and Oghren in my party, plus maybe Leliana again.
Then I'll do one as a LADY rogue, probably human noble, and I'll go all into the Alistair story line... with Alistair in the party, plus whoever turns out to be the most awesome of the other companions... probably Oghren and Wynne.
